    BFT Geelong is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Group Fitness Trainer! 

    We have two positions available across our 3 Geelong Studios - BFT Geelong West, BFT Geelong North and BFT Grovedale. 

    With the options of casual, part-time, and full-time for the right applicants. 

    As a BFT Coach, you will work alongside our team to build a thriving community and a fun, inclusive culture among the team. You will be the go-to person on the floor, ensuring the successful delivery of our progressive training programs. Day-to-day, this role involves delivering our BFT programs, so you must be able to clearly and confidently manage large, dynamic groups while also providing individual attention to members during each session. Your knowledge of exercises, training formats, progressions, and regressions must be second to none.

    This is not a walk-in, walk-out role, we are looking for a team player who is looking for career progression as this role will be assisting our Studio Manager. We have very high standards and need growth-minded individuals to keep our studio the best, our members deserve this! We are looking for someone with the ambition to take on a studio 2IC role as you progress with us.

    We have a growing member base and have developed a great community within our studios. We want someone who is equally passionate and driven to be a part of our team.

    Our key trainer requirements are:

    • Passionate about promoting health and encouraging members to reach their fitness goals

    • Exceptional communication and social skills are vital

    • Educate and advise members about programming, regression, and progression.

    • Present well and maintain good health and fitness

    • Humble in their approach

    Qualifications required: 

    • Certs 3 (minimum) & 4 in Fitness

    • Or Exercise Science (currently studying or graduates encouraged to apply) 

    • Up-to-date CPR and First Aid will be required 

    About the benefits: 

    We want you to be happy and love coming to work at BFT. You’ll be supported with ongoing training and workplace flexibility.  This role will be approximately 25-30 hours per week initially, with room to grow.

    Our shifts range from 5am - 10.15am, midday session 12.15pm and 4.15pm - 7.15pm. Saturdays between 6.30am - 10am. 

    • You'll have access to fully paid professional development.  

    • You'll also be able to train at our studio and have access to our amazing Recovery Space at our Geelong West and Grovedale studios.
