The Yard Gym in Darlinghurst is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Fitness Trainer to join our team. 

About Us:

The Yard Gym is a boutique strength and conditioning space that caters to all fitness levels and age groups.

Aesthetically cool, modern, lifestyle & community-driven, whilst focusing on bringing you a world-class training facility with programs tailored to better your physical & mental wellbeing. With over 40 + AM & PM group training sessions on offer from Monday-Saturday, The Yard’s sessions focus on strength, power, strength endurance, conditioning & cardio.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work with a variety of clients of all ages and abilities, providing individual and group fitness training sessions to help them achieve their fitness goals.

  • Conduct and lead group fitness training sessions.
  • Monitor and track client progress and adjust training programs accordingly.
  • Develop and help foster a positive, motivational and community-based team training environment
  • Educate clients about proper form and technique to prevent injuries.
  • Motivate members during and after training
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to clients to keep them motivated.
  • Maintain a clean and safe gym environment following all safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Must have Cert 3 + current First Aid
  • Be available to be onboarded into The Yard Gym.
  • Strong knowledge of fitness training techniques, equipment, and exercise science principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must have a passion for health and fitness.
