The role:

As a Fitness Studio Manager at LTYB, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fitness studio.

Our franchise specialises in providing personalised workouts within a group setting, ensuring that each individual receives tailored fitness guidance and support. As the Studio Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a motivating and inclusive environment for both members and staff, while driving the business towards success.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the fitness studio's daily operations.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, organised, and fully functional at all times.
  • Manage scheduling and booking systems for group workouts and personalized sessions.
  • Handle inventory management, including equipment and supplies.

Customer Service and Member Engagement:

  • Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for members and potential clients.
  • Respond to member enquiries, concerns, and feedback in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance member retention and satisfaction.
  • Conduct fitness consultations and assist members in setting and achieving their fitness goals.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise fitness trainers and support staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure team alignment and communication.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to enhance their performance and growth.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Participate in community events and networking opportunities to promote the studio.
  • Monitor and analyse membership data to identify growth opportunities.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all safety protocols and guidelines are strictly adhered to.
  • Keep updated with industry regulations and implement necessary changes accordingly.
  • Run LTYB Group Training sessions
  • It is recommended the Studio manager has a split of 19 hours PT/19 hours Business Management pending the size of the studio.
  • A studio Manager must lead from the front with elite standards for the team to follow.
  • A studio manager must always learn and develop in fitness leadership through ongoing education.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, or related fields (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience in the fitness industry, with previous management or supervisory roles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for fitness and a strong commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems, and adapt to dynamic situations.
  • Proficiency in fitness software and scheduling systems.

Inexperienced Managers are welcome provided there is an inner drive to learn the role.

In addition to the base salary, a fitness studio manager may also receive performance-based bonuses or incentives tied to the studio's success, member retention, and revenue growth.

We are also taking on people who are just wanting to run group sessions without the manager role as of yet with an option to grow into the role in the future if choosing to do so
