As the Studio Manager of MG-FIT Gym, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, driving business growth, and fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere for our members and staff.
You will be working directly with our Sales and operations manager, as well as being trained in the role directly by our owner. You'll be able to work well in a team while also being able to work well autonomously.
- Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of fitness trainers and front-desk staff, setting the standard for excellence in customer service, fitness programs, and member engagement.
- Operations: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the gym, managing scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
- Customer Experience: Create a warm and inclusive atmosphere, engaging with members, addressing their concerns, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Marketing: Implement marketing strategies to attract new members, close sales, and work on retention programs to maintain a strong and loyal member base.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, track expenses, and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.
- Training and Development: Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure the gym complies with all health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience in fitness or gym management.
- Fitness Certifications (minimum Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness)
- Working With Children Check
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Sales and marketing experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in fitness equipment usage and maintenance.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Obvious passion for fitness and well-being.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
