Plus Fitness in Fitzroy is looking for a Club Manager. 

Previous work in fitness is preferred, but retail and hospitality experience will also be considered. What we need is a hard worker with a great attitude and some managerial and/or sales experience.

Plus Fitness in Fitzroy is a family-owned business and the second-largest Plus Fitness franchise in Victoria. We're located on Gertrude Street, which was recently voted "second coolest street in the world". In 2022 we were nominated for Club of the Year, Franchisee of the Year and Manager of the Year. In 2024 we're undergoing a complete refit and rebrand, so you'll be leading a brand-new facility!

About the Role:

To be successful as the Club Manager you will be required to:

• Meet and greet potential and existing members
• Manage everyday club operations
• Achieve KPIs, and sales targets and maintain/ grow our ranking as the top-rated gym in Fitzroy
• Manage and motivate your team
• Create a great club culture
• Maintain the club to group compliance standards 
• Promote the Plus Fitness brand and image within the local community

• $53,396.00 - $76,477.40 per year PLUS additional performance bonuses and commission

Skills & Requirements:

For this role, we're looking for:

• Experience in Sales/Sales Management and/or Customer Service Management.
• Previous experience in the sales and retention of health club memberships is not essential but will assist candidates. 
• Previous experience in managing or working in a franchise structure will also be looked upon favourably.
• Strong people and management skills, have the desire to learn and grow, and possess keen organisational skills/ ability to work under pressure. 
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt. 
• A passion for promoting health and fitness in our communities is looked upon favourably.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft suite is important, including but not limited to; Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
