MEMBERSHIP SALES & FRONT OF HOUSE ASSISTANTS - 2 roles - Dominance MMA Thomastown and Dominance MMA Bentleigh

We're looking for people who are enthusiastic and organised with a passion for health, fitness, and martial arts to join our teams in Thomastown and Bentleigh!

These roles require strong admin skills and customer service experience as well as a high level of attention to detail. Sales experience is a plus. We'd love to see candidates who have trained in martial arts themselves, but this is not a requirement.

The role requires working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, so we'll be looking for evidence that you are self-motivated and a problem solver and capable of prioritising your tasks to get them done as efficiently as possible. You will be the face of the gym, helping new students navigate the start of their martial arts journey and existing students with any support they may need. The right candidate will enjoy the social and community-building aspects of the role and be able to balance engaging with members with the administrative and sales side of the role seamlessly.

Dominance MMA is one of Melbourne's premier mixed martial arts teams focusing on BJJ, Muay Thai, MMA, and Wrestling for kids, teens, and adults. We pride ourselves on having a positive culture and tight-knit community creating an inclusive place for people to pursue their passion in martial arts, whether this is as a recreational student, pro fighter, coach, or staff member.

JOB DETAILS

• Casual role paying $28/hour Monday - Friday and $29/hour Saturday, Sunday and public holidays with room to move to permanent part-time in the future for the right candidate.
• Thomastown position (approx 33.5 hours): Monday - Thursday 3:00-10:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-1:30pm
• Bentleigh position (approx 28 hours): Monday & Wednesday 4:00-9:30pm, Tuesday & Thursday 4:30-9:30pm, Friday 4:00-7:30pm, Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm (optional).

This role includes everything from membership sales and retention, administration, customer service, cleaning, stock control, and daily gym management support. All tasks are under the guidance of the General Manager and Head Coach.

Industry experience is not essential although some knowledge or experience training in either BJJ, Muay Thai or MMA is preferred!
