We’re looking for motivated and enthusiastic casual group fitness trainers (including trainees or students) to assist in delivering high-quality, 50-minute functional fitness classes. About the Role:
As a group fitness trainer at BFT Warragul, you’ll work alongside a supportive, high-performing team to help our clients reach their fitness goals. You will contribute to the overall experience by assisting with class delivery, providing hands-on support, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with delivering 50-minute pre-programmed functional fitness classes
- Provide guidance and technique support to members during classes
- Help set up and pack down equipment before and after sessions
- Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment, including maintaining bathrooms and floors
- Support clients in achieving their fitness goals by providing encouragement and feedback
- Lead warm-ups and cool-downs during classes
- Participate in start-of-shift and end-of-shift activities
- Flexibility to assist in other areas as needed
About You:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be motivated, energetic, and have a genuine passion for fitness. You should enjoy working as part of a team and be eager to learn and grow in the fitness industry. Trainee students or those currently studying are encouraged to apply.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Cert III or IV in Fitness (or currently studying)
- Experience in group training or personal training (preferred but not required)
- A passion for helping others and making a difference in their fitness journey
- A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to step outside of your core duties when needed
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High level of energy, organisation, and attention to detail
- A strong work ethic and a passion for the health and fitness industry
Additional Requirements:
- First Aid & CPR certification(or willing to obtain)
- Certificate III In fitness (or willingness to complete)
- Flexibility to work both morning and evening shifts is required
