MOVEMENT AND FORCE, DO YOU STACK UP?

As Movement Coaches, Personal Trainers or Fitness Instructors, we are constantly prescribing exercise for clients BUT does it really stack up?

How do you judge the effectiveness of what you are prescribing? Does it produce a successful outcome, one that creates a solution for the client?

In this session, we'll look at specific movements that tell us a lot about our clients and their ability to handle the daily forces that have an impact on their bodies.

We'll then apply strategies to correct or enhance movement patterns that optimise safety, efficiency, and performance.

In this session, you'll learn how to...

  • Demonstrate relevant movements using effective coaching
  • Observe and appraise client replication without judgment
  • Create a solution/strategy for the client that will lead to successful outcomes.
  • Collect feedback from clients about their experience and result.

So, how well does your movement stack up? Join us and become a change leader in your community.

Holistic Movement Coach – The 3 Movement Platforms

80-90% of our movement problems can be resolved by working on 3 key areas (which we call movement platforms).  When these movement platforms are working seamlessly, you can build excellent movement on them.  Without the platforms operating well you may be reps away from a train wreck.  Learn how to view the body through a new lens and learn practical tools to get your clients to move better.

At the end of this session you’ll:

  • Understand the concept of movement platforms
  • Understand common problems and solutions for movement platform problems
  • Learn practical techniques for assessing and improving your movement platforms
