Expires on 10/10/26
$70,000 - $80,000 per year
Most gyms sell memberships.
We build a community that people plan their week around.
There's a difference, and it comes down to who's on the floor. A session can be technically well-run and still feel forgettable. Or it can be the best hour of someone's day, the kind they tell their work colleagues about or their partner at dinner. That second version doesn't happen because someone followed a program well. It happens because someone in the room actually cared about their experience.
That's the person we need.
Minimum requirements: Cert III & IV in Fitness, current First Aid & CPR.
What sets this apart
This isn't a shift-filler role. If you're between things and just need hours on a roster, this probably isn't for you, and that's fine, but we'd rather be upfront about it now.
What we actually want is someone who sees this as a launchpad. You're not satisfied being "a coach" forever - you're curious about what it actually takes to run a studio: how members get retained, how a business stays full, what separates a good week from a great one. This role is built to teach you that, on purpose, not by accident.
We also want someone who is willing to incorporate BFT into their own training - not just to tick a box, but because they know it’s the fastest way to learn and understand our BFT programming and because they are genuinely curious about the "why" behind what we do. There's a real difference between a coach who calls out the next exercise and one who can tell you why it's programmed that way and explain the reasoning to a member mid-session.
And we need someone coachable. Doesn't matter how many years you've got in the industry. If you can't take a note and adjust, we're not the right fit. The coaches who grow fastest here are the ones who stay humble longest.
This also isn't a six-month stopgap. We’re investing real time into whoever takes this on, and we want that investment to compound, not evaporate.
What you'll actually be doing
Running sessions that people look forward to, not just attend
Learning names, noticing absences, celebrating wins, etc. It’s the small stuff that keeps people coming back
Taking a lead in running our 8-week challenges and benchmark testing
Getting hands-on exposure to retention, onboarding, sales and studio operations
Helping shape our social content and becoming a familiar face of the studio
Working directly alongside the Studio Manager and owners as a genuine mentee, not just an employee
What's in it for you
Starting at 25–30 hours a week, with a real, structured pathway to a full-time Assistant Studio Manager position for the right person.
Direct mentoring from people who've built this business from the ground up.
A front-row seat to how a studio is actually run, from the numbers to the culture.
A complimentary BFT membership, and a team where the standard is genuinely high
A bit more about you
Group fitness coaching experience helps. So does availability across mornings, evenings and alternating weekends. Bonus points if content creation is something you enjoy rather than tolerate.
But honestly, the resume matters less than the person. We’d rather hire someone who cares deeply and is still developing their craft than someone polished who's coasting.
