At BFT Cranbourne, we're not looking for someone who simply wants to coach classes.

We're looking for someone who wants to build a career in fitness.

Someone who is passionate about movement quality, member outcomes, education, and creating an exceptional training experience every single day. Someone who wants to take ownership, lead from the front, and become a key part of our long-term vision.

    About Us

BFT Cranbourne is one of Australia's leading BFT studios, proudly recognised for our community culture and member engagement.

Unlike many fitness businesses, both owners remain heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the studio. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Head Trainer who can take the reins on programming standards, coaching excellence, and member progression while working closely alongside ownership.

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership position and genuinely influence the experience of hundreds of members.

    The Role

As Head Trainer, you will be responsible for:

    • Leading coaching standards across the studio

    • Driving adherence to BFT programming and coaching methodologies

    • Developing member movement competency, technique, and long-term progression

    • Mentoring and supporting coaching staff

    • Delivering high-energy, high-quality group training sessions

    • Monitoring member engagement and training outcomes

    • Contributing to education initiatives for both members and coaches

    • Helping maintain the positive culture that BFT Cranbourne is known for

    Who We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who:

    • Sees fitness as a career, not just a casual coaching job

    • Has a genuine passion for helping people move better and perform better

    • Values ongoing education and professional development

    • Takes pride in delivering exceptional coaching experiences

    • Is confident leading a team and setting standards

    • Understands that member retention is built through relationships, results, and service

    • Wants to make a long-term impact on a community

    Essential Qualifications

    • Certificate III & IV in Fitness

    • Current First Aid & CPR

    • Group training experience

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Highly Regarded

    • Strength & Conditioning qualifications

    • Experience within BFT, F45, or similar group training environments

    • Experience mentoring or leading coaching teams

    • A strong understanding of movement mechanics and exercise progression

    What You’ll Get

    • A genuine leadership opportunity within a thriving studio

    • Direct mentorship from engaged owners who are invested in your success

    • Ongoing education and professional development opportunities

    • A supportive and high-performing team environment

    • The chance to make a real impact on member outcomes and studio culture

    • Career progression opportunities as the business continues to grow

If you're passionate about coaching, obsessed with helping people move better, and excited by the opportunity to lead from the front, we'd love to hear from you.
