    We at BFT Oakleigh are on the hunt for an EXPERIENCED fitness coach to join our team.

    We are a group fitness boutique studio that runs a variety of classes with an emphasis on strength and conditioning in a functional way.  

    The hours are negotiable but we are looking to cover approximately 20 to 30 hours a week depending on availability and hourly rate will depend on experience and qualifications but will be approximately $40 per hour.

    Our programs are designed by one of Australia's most elite high-performance, strength and conditioning coaches, ensuring our programs remain cutting-edge and results-driven.

    About the role:

    We are looking for an experienced, happy, friendly fitness coach to join our team who has an eye for technique, is reliable, can bring energy, is confident and has a passion and drive for this position.

    This role includes a mix of mostly on-floor hours delivering BFT fitness classes but also some off-floor hours coordinating our member journey, and executing our vision of developing a thriving community.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Maintain good member retention stats.

    • Develop and help foster a positive, motivational and community-based team training environment.

    • Assist our team in driving optimal results for members.

    • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the studio, and ensure the studio is impeccably maintained.

    About you - skills and experience you need:

    • Sports, fitness, health or relatable tertiary education

    • Excellent spoken and written communications skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships and rapport quickly

    • Enthusiastic, professional and supportive attitude towards clients and other staff

    • Self-motivated and goal-oriented

    • Attention to detail

    • Passion, enthusiasm and genuine motivation towards wanting to improve the lives of others

    • High level of integrity

    • Can-do attitude

    Qualifications you need:

    • Certificate IV in Personal Training minimum

    • Current First Aid and CPR
