At BFT Wynnum, we believe people deserve more than a workout.
They deserve to be coached. To feel connected. To be seen.

We don’t run “group fitness classes.”
We deliver progressive strength & conditioning programs in a high-performance group environment - designed to make our members fitter, stronger, and more capable in life.

    Our training is high-level.
    Our members are everyday people.

Our coaches don’t run timers or count reps.
They meet people where they’re at. They teach the why. They build trust. They coach with intent.

    We care about detail.
    We prepare.
    We follow through.
We do things differently - and better.

We’re now hiring two full-time leaders to join our growing studio.

    1. Studio Manager

    $80,000 + Super | Full-Time

    Role Overview

This is a leadership role focused on studio growth, culture, and performance. You’ll drive sales and retention, lead from the front as a coach, and ensure the studio runs with excellence behind the scenes.

    Weekly Structure

    • ~13 hours admin, sales, retention, events & team leadership

    Core Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-level coaching on the floor

    • Organise member events and community initiatives

    • Oversee social media presence and brand standards

    • Manage studio systems, performance tracking & accountability

    • Create an environment where members feel known and coached

    2. Head Trainer

    $70,000 + Super | Full-Time

    Role Overview

This is a performance coaching role for someone who lives and breathes training standards. You’ll elevate coaching quality, own technique development, and ensure members train with precision and purpose.

    Weekly Structure

    • ~32 hours coaching

    • ~6 hours admin & development

    Core Responsibilities

    • Deliver exceptional strength & conditioning coaching

    • Produce technique videos and educational content

    • Run workshops and member education sessions

    • Support retention through high-touch coaching

    • Assist Studio Manager in driving training standards

    What Makes BFT Wynnum Different?

    🔹 We Coach, Not Cheerlead

    We don’t yell “go harder.”
We provide individual targets and technical feedback so members leave feeling successful.

    🔹 Detail Matters

Preparation, programming intent, and delivery quality are non-negotiable.

    🔹 Community With Standards

We are supportive - but we don’t lower the bar.

    Who We’re Looking For

    We hire for character first.

    Our Core Values

    Integrity
You do what you say you’ll do. You take ownership. You lead by example.

    Energy
You bring positive, grounded intensity - not chaos. Your presence lifts standards.

    Growth Mindset
You want to get better. You seek feedback. You’re coachable and constantly refining your craft.

    Professionalism
You’re punctual, prepared, and polished. You treat this as a career, not a hobby.

    Care Factor
You genuinely care about people’s progress - not just attendance numbers.

    Standards Over Comfort
You’re willing to hold members accountable because you believe in their potential.

    Ideal Background

    • Cert IV in Fitness (minimum), higher S&C qualifications preferred

    • Experience in strength & conditioning or structured group training

    • Comfortable using tech systems and social platforms

    • Sales & leadership experience (Studio Manager role)

    • Experience mentoring or leading coaches (Studio Manager role)
