Reformer Pilates Instructor - Genesis Health & Fitness Maidstone

Genesis Health + Fitness has over 40+ locations nationally and provides classes and fitness solutions to cater for all member requirements and needs.

We're currently looking for qualified Reformer Pilates Instructors.

For our Reformer Pilates instructors, benefits include,

• In this role, you'll deliver programmed classes, complete general studio administration, educate members on Reformer Pilates, assist the Genesis Health + Fitness sales team, and (where applicable) deliver 1:1 private member sessions.

Key Accountabilities

1. Delivery of Reformer Pilates classes as per program structure dictated by Head Office. Ensure that activities are being undertaken safely and as specified within each class.
2. Participate in professional development workshops (online or virtual) and promotional activities as directed by the Head Instructor.
3. General cleaning and maintenance tasks such as tidying reformer equipment and ensuring everything in the studio is put away between classes.
4. Have a range of availability including some early morning, weeknight, or weekend work - and to assist with cover shifts as required.
5. Deliver a high level of customer service, assisting the Genesis Health + Fitness club sales team to recruit and retain members.

Qualifications

All Instructors MUST have:

• Diploma/Cert IV in Pilates OR equivalent Pilates certification (i.e.: Polestar Ultimate Reformer course, STOTT Level 1 Pilates, BASI Comprehensive Program, Studio Pilates Reformer course, APPI Instructor certification)
• The ability to deliver lesson plans as set out by Genesis Health + Fitness programming
• First Aid and CPR
• A positive, community-focused mindset
• Working with Children/ Blue Card National Police

Desirable, but not required:

• Prior Reformer or other Group Fitness class teaching experience
• Cert III or IV in Fitness
• Dancers or dance teachers
• Exercise Science/Physiology or similar degree
• Advanced Nutrition
• Rehabilitation/Mobility coaching
• Pre/Post-Natal qualifications
• Current Full Drivers Licence

Training

On-site onboarding training will be provided for the right applicant, to learn the Genesis Health + Fitness method and terminology for delivering Reformer Pilates classes. This training is compulsory to teach classes within our clubs.
