    Great Shape Bayside is a small independent personal training studio under new management. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team. We work primarily with adults aged 40 and over, providing personalised, progressive strength training in a friendly and supportive environment.

    Beginning as a casual position, there is the intention to grow hours and move to a permanent part-time role.

    About the role

    • Deliver 1-1 personal training and small group training (max class size 12)

    • Contribute to client programs with a focus on functional strength and progression

    • Initial commitment approx 15 hours per week across three days, with opportunity to grow

    • Rostered hours are primarily mornings with some afternoon flexibility

    • Competitive hourly rate offered based on experience

    What we're looking for:

    • Certificate III & IV (or equivalent)

    • Current First Aid & CPR

    • Demonstrated experience in Personal and/or Group Training

    • Confident working with adults 40+ and older adults

    • Excellent communication skills and a personable, supportive approach

    Highly regarded:

    • Experience with older adult fitness, injury management, or habit-based coaching

    • Background in Exercise Science or related study

    • A genuine interest in client wellbeing and long-term results

    • Comfortable contributing to a small, community-focused business
