Great Shape Bayside is a small independent personal training studio under new management. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team. We work primarily with adults aged 40 and over, providing personalised, progressive strength training in a friendly and supportive environment.
Beginning as a casual position, there is the intention to grow hours and move to a permanent part-time role.
About the role
Deliver 1-1 personal training and small group training (max class size 12)
Contribute to client programs with a focus on functional strength and progression
Initial commitment approx 15 hours per week across three days, with opportunity to grow
Rostered hours are primarily mornings with some afternoon flexibility
Competitive hourly rate offered based on experience
What we're looking for:
Certificate III & IV (or equivalent)
Current First Aid & CPR
Demonstrated experience in Personal and/or Group Training
Confident working with adults 40+ and older adults
Excellent communication skills and a personable, supportive approach
Highly regarded:
Experience with older adult fitness, injury management, or habit-based coaching
Background in Exercise Science or related study
A genuine interest in client wellbeing and long-term results
Comfortable contributing to a small, community-focused business
