Exercise Physiologist - InnerFit Leichhardt

Position Overview:

We’re on the lookout for a passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and implementing personalised exercise programs, helping patients achieve their health and rehabilitation goals. We offer flexible employment options, with full-time, part-time, or casual positions available.

What You’ll Bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology.
• Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
• Strong ability to build rapport with patients.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients’ physical conditions and health needs.
• Collaborate with our Head Exercise Physiologist, Administrators and Trainers.
• Conduct patient history reviews and physical examinations.
• Manage injuries effectively.
• Deliver health and wellness initiatives.
• Communicate clearly with patients and handle related administrative tasks.
• Develop tailored exercise programs for chronic disease and injury management.
• Monitor and adjust programs based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educate patients on safe, effective exercise techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology.
• Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills and report writing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
