At My Good Feeling Health Hub, we help everyday people rebuild their strength, energy and confidence through structured training and genuine community.
We are not a typical gym.
We are a premium coaching environment built on culture, accountability and real human connection. Our members don’t just train here, they become part of a community that supports their progress and holds them to higher standards.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Coach to join our team and help deliver the coaching experience our members expect.
This role is part-time initially, with a clear pathway toward full-time hours and future leadership opportunities for the right person.
This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves coaching and thrives on the gym floor. In the early stages of the role, the majority of your time will be spent on coaching sessions, supporting members and maintaining the premium training environment we are known for.
As you grow within the role, there is also the opportunity to develop into future leadership or management responsibilities within the business.
As a Senior Coach, you will be working across three key coaching pillars within the facility.
1. MGF Everyday Athletes
Our core adult training program is designed for everyday people who want to build strength, improve fitness and train consistently in a supportive environment. Members range from busy parents and professionals to people returning to fitness after years away from training. The focus is on helping members:
Build strength and conditioning
Improve energy and confidence
Train consistently 3–4 times per week
Become stronger and more capable in everyday life
2. MGF Future Athletes
Our junior development program focused on building strong foundations for young athletes and active kids. Sessions focus on:
Strength and conditioning fundamentals
Movement skill development
Speed, coordination and agility
Building confidence in the gym environment
The goal is to support both young athletes wanting to improve their sporting performance and to help kids learn how to move and train properly in a positive environment.
3. MGF Strength & Movement Program
Our disability and NDIS-supported program is designed to help participants improve their physical capacity, independence and confidence through structured exercise. Sessions focus on:
Strength development
Functional movement
Balance and coordination
Building confidence with physical activity
Experience working with NDIS participants or individuals living with disabilities is highly advantageous.
Coaching Excellence - Deliver engaging, high-energy group training sessions while ensuring every member still receives individual coaching attention. You must be able to:
Command the room with energy and presence
Demonstrate movements clearly and confidently
Provide coaching cues and corrections
Deliver personal coaching touchpoints to members during every session
Member Experience - At My Good Feeling Health Hub, the coaching experience goes beyond the workout. Our goal is simple: Every member should feel better when they leave than when they walked in. Responsibilities include:
Building genuine relationships with members
Supporting members with their training journey
Recognising changes in attendance or behaviour and addressing them early
Creating a positive, welcoming training environment
Facility Standards - We operate to premium standards across everything we do. This includes:
Maintaining a clean and organised training floor
Ensuring equipment is packed away correctly
Taking pride in the presentation of the facility
Upholding the professional standards of the brand
The standards we walk past become the standards we accept.
YOU WILL NEED TO BE AVAILABLE across both mornings and evenings. Typical scheduling includes a split across the week, such as:
3 morning coaching blocks
3 evening coaching blocks
This ensures strong coaching coverage across our busiest member training times.
Essential:
Certificate III & IV in Fitness (or equivalent)
Strong group coaching ability
Confidence leading group sessions
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Advantageous:
Strength & Conditioning experience
Experience working with NDIS or disability participants
Previous experience coaching youth or athlete development programs
The right person for this role:
Loves being on the coaching floor
Brings positive energy into every session
Takes pride in delivering high standards
Cares about people and their progress
Wants to grow within a business long-term
Understands that culture always comes before ego
Generous pay for the right candidate
A supportive and positive coaching team
A growing premium training facility
Strong community culture
Clear opportunities for career progression
