WE’RE AFTER COACHES WHO STEP UP AND TAKE OWNERSHIP of every person in that room. Someone who cares about getting the technique right as much as the atmosphere, and who wants to be known as one of the good ones doing it.
Forget about the ‘hype man/woman’ roles; this is a role for a coach! We need you to run proper sessions with the backing of a real team.
At Performance PT, group coaching isn't an afterthought. It's a team-based Strength and Conditioning program, built for our ‘Everyday Athletes’; we take it seriously. We're not looking for someone to run a class or be a cheerleader. We're looking for a coach who can lead a room properly- energy, standards, and real coaching, all at once.
Who we are
Performance PT is a world-class facility where personal training isn’t an afterthought – it’s the main event. Our mission is simple: to make personal training more personally rewarding for everyone involved.
The role…
Position: Part-Time Squad Coach
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings (early starts)
Pay: Base hourly $36-$45 per hour (inclusive of super) + monthly performance bonuses (uncapped earning potential)
Location: PPT Gregory Hills, NSW
What we offer…
Guaranteed hours and stable income, even on a small shift.
No programming to build. Walk in, coach, and run the room. That's it.
An established squad. Great, long-term clients, not a room you're building from scratch.
A team worth being part of. Experienced coaches and a culture that pushes you to be better.
Real employment conditions. Paid holidays, sick leave, and performance bonuses.
Train where you work. Full complimentary access to our private facility, one of the best-equipped spaces in the region, stocked with Rogue, Atlantis, Watson, Nautilus and more.
You’ll enjoy this job if…
You've got experience running group or squad-style sessions (or are a gun 1:1 coach and you’re ready to learn group).
You can hold a room's energy and still coach real technique, not just noise.
You take your own training as seriously as you take your clients'.
You want to be part of a program that's taken seriously, not treated as an afterthought.
You believe what happens in that room genuinely changes people, and you want to be the one running it.
You must be up for early Saturday starts, and prepared to bring real coaching to every session.
