Receptionist / Membership Consultant

World Gym Bundaberg is on the lookout for an energetic, customer-focused Receptionist / Membership Consultant to join our team!

As a Receptionist, you’ll be the face of our club - greeting members, supporting their fitness journey, and ensuring every visit is a great experience. You’ll help maintain a clean, organised and welcoming club environment, while also assisting with front desk operations and supporting sales of merchandise, supplements, and Barbell Café products.

As a Membership Consultant, you’ll play a key role in growing our club by engaging with prospective and existing members, guiding them through membership options, and helping them choose the right fit for their goals. You’ll conduct tours of the facility, follow up enquiries, and support retention through excellent service and relationship building. You’ll also work closely with the reception team to ensure a seamless member experience from first contact through to long-term membership.

You’ll work closely with and report directly to the Club Manager.

💪 What We’re Looking For:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Previous experience in a similar customer service or reception role

• Experience or confidence in sales is highly regarded

• Barista experience or a willingness to learn

• A genuine passion for health, fitness, and helping others

• A friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude

• Full availability highly considered (including weekends)

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
