The Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF) and HealthyPeople have made it easier for employers to connect with AIF students and alumni.

Under a new initiative, the AIF is directing students, as part of their fitness course, to register with HealthyPeople. These students then populate a separate list on HealthyPeople so they can be easily identified by recruiting employers.

For the AIF "Warriors", HealthyPeople can help them connect more easily with work experience hours, and then again with professional opportunities when qualified.

AIF "Warriors" can be found under the AIF tab via the "Search Staff" link.

Access to these AIF candidates is FREE for AIF Career Partners.

To access any AIF "Warriors" that are within 15km of their facility, employers will need to be logged in to HealthyPeople and a Career Partner with the AIF (free);

• Employers that are not registered with HealthyPeople will be given a unique registration link to provide access. 
• Employers that are already registered with HealthyPeople can contact the AIF for an account upgrade link.

AIF candidates will also populate the main search list.

Any fitness employers with a HealthyPeople Business Membership will also have access to AIF candidates in their area via the main search results. 

As well as providing the industry’s first seamless and fully supported pathway from education to employment, this new approach offers a great deal for professionals and employers;

• Encouragement for longer fitness careers. We look forward to supporting the AIF graduates, not just on graduation, but over the many years to come. And while this dedicated support is great for professionals, it's also a win for employers if we can help keep people in the industry.
• Support for a changing recruitment landscape. The ability to connect directly with local candidates is essential where traditional recruitment efforts on their own (aka job advertising) can no longer be relied on. AIF Career Partners have the ability to connect with local candidates for FREE.
